Three Easy Father's Day Gifts The Kids Can Make

Just like Mother's Day, I like to have my kids put together a homemade treasure for their grandpas and dad. Here are three easy ideas to gift this year.

Hugs and Kisses Jar:  This is one of my favorites because it showcases the child's little lips and hands.  Use washable stamp pads to stamp your child's hand on several several squares of paper (4x4" or 5x5").  Put lipstick or gloss on your child and have them kiss several more squares of paper.  Fold the paper squares and place in a jar that you and the kids decorate.  Add Hershey's hugs and kisses candy for an added treat!

Sweet thoughts for Dad - I love this idea from the blog, Simple Kids. Have the kids write messages to dad or grandpa on slips of paper.  Wrap the slips around mini versions of your dad/grandpa's favorite candy.  Put the wrapped candies in a decorated jar or box.

"The Best Dad Ever" Book: My seven year-old daughter just made one of these books for her teacher for the end of the year and I thought it would make a great book for her dad or grandpa.  All you need is blank paper, crayons and/or markers and your child's creativity.  My daughter wrote, illustrated and bound the whole thing herself.
